Bomb threat to school and junior college in Mumbai, after investigation turned out to be false

A private school and junior college in the western suburbs here received an email on Monday saying there was a bomb in the building, but it was later proved to be false. The administration of a school in Kandivali received an email in which the sender claimed to belong to the Afzal gang, saying there was a bomb in the building, an official said.

Officials said the local police, along with bomb detection squad and dog squad, carried out an extensive search of the Kandivali Education Society (KES) School and Junior College but found nothing suspicious and the mail was later classified as a.
