Union Home Minister Amit Shah today said that Article 370 planted the seeds of separatism in the minds of the youth of Kashmir and the Narendra Modi government has eradicated terrorism from the valley. He said that Article 370 and Article 35A were the biggest obstacles in the complete integration of Kashmir with India. Shah was speaking on the occasion of the release of the book ‘Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh: Through the Ages’. Talking about the relationship of Kashmir with the rest of the country, the Home Minister said that India is the only country in the world, which is geo-cultural and whose borders are formed from its culture. Shah said that India cannot be understood from a geo-political perspective but only from its Indian perspective. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Chairman of Indian Council of Historical Research Raghuvendra Tanwar were also present on this occasion. -News-Patiala
