After the scuffle that took place between Kabz group and another faction in Mohali Industry Association office today, Kabz Group President Baljit Singh Blackstone held a press conference at Mohali Press Club. Rejecting the allegations leveled by the opposition, he said that if he has done any wrongful dealings with anyone while in office, he will immediately resign from the office if he shows proof. He said that the faction with big industries is trying to suppress the small units. He accused Mukesh Bansal of spoiling the atmosphere by removing the turban of a member during the meeting. He said that he has been serving as president for the past one year and the problems of the industrial sector are being solved. He said that on August 6, the members gave their majority and handed over the chairmanship to him again for the second year. He said that the opposition and some executive members passed a resolution to elect their president, which is against the bye-laws of the MIA. He also accused the other group of propagandizing the directives of the SDM.
On this occasion, Harbir Singh Dhindsa, Rakesh Vig, Garish Bhanot, Paramjit Singh Saini, Manmohan Singh Jandu, Dapindernain Singh, Gurbaksh Singh, Jaswant Singh Bhullar, Rajinder Singh Sidhu, Surjit Singh, Jagtar Singh, Karam Singh Babra, Gurmeet Singh, Paramjit Mavi, Harmeet Singh, Shivander Singh were present.
Mukesh Bansal denied the allegations
Mukesh Bansal, leader of the second group of Mohali Industries Association, described all the allegations as baseless. He said that everything is captured in the CCTV cameras and the cameras of the media to see who spoiled the environment. He said that the members sitting in the office beat him in the presence of the police. Mr. Bansal said that he had come to talk about re-election of MIA in the light of DC and SDM’s directives and had called a press conference there. He said that the allegations leveled against him for taking off someone’s turban are also baseless.
