The Delhi High Court sought a response from Patanjali on the Dabur company’s petition


New Delhi, December 26

The Delhi High Court has sought Patanjali Ayurveda’s stand on Dabur’s suit over advertisements allegedly defaming Patanjali Ayurveda’s product Chyawanprash. On December 24, Justice Mini Pushkaran issued summons to defendants Patanjali Ayurveda and Patanjali Foods Limited to respond in the case.

It is said in the order, “The plaintiff should be registered as a suit. Summons be issued.. written statement be filed by the defendant within thirty days from today.”

Dabur alleged that while promoting Patanjali Special Chyawanprash, it made deliberate and false allegations, thereby defaming its product Dabur Chyawanprash. The court issued a notice on the application seeking interim relief and fixed the hearing on January 30. News-Patiala
