The election office of Rashmi Jain, the Congress candidate from Ward No. 6, was inaugurated by Rupinder Singh Raja Gill, the Congress Party in-charge from Samrala Constituency. On this occasion, he held a meeting with political leaders and workers related to the ward and went door-to-door for election campaigning. He said that the election officials came under political pressure and rejected the papers of six Congress candidates. Raja Gill said that the public outcry will be heavy on the government and where elections are being held in the remaining 8 wards, the Congress candidates will win with a huge majority.
While campaigning in favor of Congress candidate Rashmi Jain, he said that this is a well-known and friendly family of the city, due to which the party has fielded him in the election field. Rashmi Jain’s election office was inaugurated today by cutting the ribbon with former councilor Manjit Kumari along with Raja Gill. On this occasion, former president Surinder Kundra, JP. Singh Makkar, Dr. Sunil Dutt, Surinder Bansal, Paramjit Pammi, Harchand Singh, Surinder Chhindi (all former councillors), Vineet Kumar Jharaudi, Roky Bansal, Chetan Kumar, Renu Bains, Ashok Bahri, Deepu Makkar, Vijay Jain, Vijay Mittal, Sanjay Jain, Ajay Jain , Charan Kamal Bansal and Ajay Bansal were also present.
