Chandigarh Administration and Nek Chand Memorial Trust celebrated the 100th birth anniversary of Padma Shri late Nek Chand, who built the world famous Rock Garden in Chandigarh, with great fanfare at the Rock Garden. On this occasion, late Nek Chand’s son Anuj Saini and other family members paid homage. After this, he expressed his happiness by cutting a cake on the 100th birthday of Padmashri late Nek Chand. Apart from this, different types of cultural programs were organized at Rock Garden, for which artists from different states arrived.
Today, on the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of Padmasree late Nek Chand, a fair was celebrated at Rock Garden Chandigarh. In which a large number of people arrived from Chandigarh, Punjab and Haryana. Who paid tribute to late Nek Chand and enjoyed the rock garden created by him. It may be mentioned that the UT administration and Nek Chand Memorial Trust organized events from December 8 to 15 in connection with the 100th birth anniversary of Padma Shri Late Nek Chand. Meanwhile, a large number of singers including Kanwar Grewal, Anup Jalota reached the Rock Garden and gave their singing performance. Apart from this, different types of music and cultural programs were organized at Rock Garden. A large number of people have participated in that too.
