District President of BKU (Charuni) Sanju Gundiana said that protest is being held across the state today in favor of the guarantee of MSP law and in favor of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who is on death fast at Khanuri border. Accordingly, they are sitting on a one-day hunger strike. He said that the health of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal is becoming critical day by day. He demanded from the Prime Minister to hold talks with the agitating farmers as soon as possible and save the life of the farmer leader by accepting the demands of the farmers immediately. He warned that if there is no dialogue with the farmers, the farmers across the country will be forced to take to the streets. He demanded that the new draft of the Agricultural Marketing Policy should be withdrawn immediately and the cases registered against the farmers during the agitation and demonstrations should also be withdrawn. On this occasion, farmers like Sanju Pradhan, Pappal Gundiana, Ravinder, Ishwar, Satish, Chandrapal, Rajesh, Krishnapal, Mahendra Chahar, Rita Chahal and Rupinder Kaur sat on hunger strike.
