Delhi Politics: A conspiracy is being made to arrest Delhi Chief Minister Atishi: Kejriwal

New Delhi, December 25

Delhi’s ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday alleged that a conspiracy is being hatched to arrest Delhi Chief Minister Atishi and that Atishi may be arrested in the coming days in a ‘fake’ case. is He has said this in a post on social media platform X (X).

It is to be noted that the women and child development and health departments of the Delhi government on Wednesday distanced themselves from the schemes based on the promises of the ruling AAP by issuing a public notice. Through these schemes, AAP had promised Rs 2,100 masks for women and free treatment for the elderly, but this action by Delhi government departments has sparked a new controversy ahead of the Delhi assembly elections.

Both the departments have cautioned people against giving their personal details to anyone on the pretext of registration for any such ‘non-existent’ schemes and said that any private individual or political party who collects information by filling forms or otherwise is doing, then it is ‘fraudulent and without any authority’.

This action by the departments comes a few days after AAP leaders started the process of registering people for the Mukhya Mantri Mahila Samman Yojana and Sanjeevani Yojana and on this AAP Convener Arvind Kejriwal has expressed strong displeasure. Kejriwal, who is spearheading the registration drive, alleged that the BJP was panicking over the two schemes and claimed that Chief Minister Atishi could be arrested in the coming days in a ‘bogus’ case.

In his tweet, he said, “They are totally shocked by Mahila Samman Yojana and Sanjeevani Yojana. They have planned to arrest Chief Minister Atishi ji by creating a fake case in the next few days.” He also claimed that raids will be conducted against senior AAP leaders before the arrest of Atishi.

BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj on Tuesday claimed that she had spoken to the Delhi government’s health secretary and was told that no “sanjeevani yojana” existed. Both the schemes were announced by Kejriwal in view of the assembly elections to be held in February next year and ‘AAP’ started registration for the schemes as a campaign. AAP leaders feel that this approach will prove helpful in wooing voters, as many believe that such schemes have helped bring ruling parties to power in several states. -News-Patiala
