Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi visited Dehradun today and reviewed the operational preparations. He also met army personnel and took information from officials about security priorities and infrastructure development. According to sources, he emphasized the importance of maintaining maximum operational excellence in a complex and rapidly evolving security environment. Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Command was also present with him on this occasion. General Dwivedi received information from General Officer Commanding of ‘Uttar Bharat Area’ Lieutenant General DG Mishra and General Officer Commanding of ‘Golden Key Division’ Major General Naveen Mahajan. The army chief also highlighted the ongoing efforts to modernize equipment, improve training standards and promote innovation to effectively tackle future challenges, sources said. On one occasion, General Dwivedi also wished the soldiers a happy New Year. -News-Patiala
