Mohali: Cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu is taking care of his cancer-stricken wife, Dr. Navjot Kaur, who has recently undergone her 5th chemotherapy. Sidhu has been by his wife’s side throughout her treatment, and the couple is now planning to go to Manali for some rest and relaxation.
In a social media post, Sidhu shared a picture of Dr. Kaur receiving her chemotherapy. He wrote, “The wounds have healed but the mental scars of this difficult exam will still remain. 5th chemo going on. Navjot Kaur refused to move her hand, so I am feeding her with a spoon.”
Sidhu also thanked Dr. Rupinder, who is treating his wife. He wrote, “Thank you Dr. Rupinder for your expertise and support. You are helping us get through this difficult time.”
The couple is planning to spend a few weeks in Manali to recuperate. They hope that the change of scenery and the fresh air will help Dr. Kaur to feel better.
