News Patiala: 12th July- Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sahni interacted with the NDRF personnel at Rishi Colony on July 11, 2023, at 7:30 am to take stock of the relief operations. She gave necessary instructions to the officials to ensure that the affected people are provided with all the necessary assistance.
Sahni was accompanied by District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ravinder Sharma and other senior officials. She visited the affected areas and interacted with the people who have been displaced due to the recent floods. She assured them that the government is committed to providing them with all the necessary help.
The NDRF personnel have been working round-the-clock to rescue and evacuate the people from the affected areas. They have also been providing food, water, and medical assistance to the affected people.
Sahni appreciated the efforts of the NDRF personnel and directed them to continue their work with full dedication. She also asked them to ensure that the relief operations are carried out in a smooth and efficient manner.
