The emergency ward of Rajindra Hospital has more modern facilities including advanced ICU. 17 beds for, four operation theaters for emergencies connected with operation theater, surgical HDU. 10 new beds have been established for Apart from this, a waiting area for 50 people and modern medical equipment have been installed.

Mentioning the responsibility of the government to keep Punjabis healthy, the Chief Minister further said that efforts are being made to equip the government hospitals with modern facilities. The Chief Minister said that so far more than 500 Aam Aadmi clinics are providing free health and check-up services to the people and more clinics are also being opened in the near future.
