News Patiala: Despite being a holiday on Saturday, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Aditya Uppal (IAS) held an important meeting with the officials and employees of the building branch. took them to the field. Because of this, the building inspectors who landed in the field sealed 21 buildings working on a pre-prepared list.

Also, criminal cases were ordered to be registered, taking strict action against the ongoing construction of three before-sealed commercial buildings. Apart from this, orders to demolish three commercial buildings were issued by the Corporation Commissioner.

Municipal Corporation Commissioner Aditya Uppal said that he was receiving complaints of neglect of building bylaws. He said that most people increase the pace of construction work on holidays. Due to this, he held an important meeting with all the officials and employees of the building branch in the corporation on Saturday.

 After the meeting, the building inspectors were taken to the field under the chairmanship of Joint Commissioner Jeevan Jot Kaur.  on behalf of the Joint Commissioner, a list of constructed buildings was prepared by going to different areas of the city.

 Based on this list, the building branch sealed 21 commercial buildings till late Saturday evening. Joint Commissioner Jeevan Jot Kaur said that Lower Mall Road, Opposite Municipal Office, Snouri Adda, Ghalodi Gate, Tejbagh Colony, Income Tax Road, Bhupindra Road, Behind Columbia Asia 95 Feet Road, Jhil Road, Tripuri Town,  Tripuri  Town Includes commercial buildings near Madyan Road.

Apart from this, it has been recommended to register a criminal case against the owner of two shops and a showroom located near the Excise office in Tripri town for carrying out construction work in the sealed building. Along with this, Corporation Commissioner Aditya Uppal has ordered the demolition of three commercial buildings on Saturday.

Corporation Commissioner Aditya Uppal has once again appealed to the city residents that no one should make the mistake of taking shortcuts for any kind of construction work. He said in a warning tone that anyone will violate the building bye-laws in any form.

 He has to be ready to face punishment as per prescribed rules. Anyone who wants to construct a domestic or commercial building. He should start the construction work only after getting his map passed by the corporation as per the rules.

No one should make the mistake of starting the construction work after applying the map. Whoever will cause financial loss to the corporation by constructing a commercial building after getting the house map passed. Now a criminal case will be registered against him.
