Member Secretary of Punjab State Legal Services Authority visit Central Jail Patiala

News Patiala 14th August 2022:
             Punjab State Legal Services Authority Member Secretary Arun Gupta visited Central Jail Patiala. They inspected the legal aid clinic and took stock of the arrangements. Secretary of District Legal Services Authority Patiala Sushma Devi was also present with him. District Legal Services Authority, Mohali Secretary Baljinder Singh settled 2 cases by setting up a camp court.

 Member Secretary said that he visited the Central Jail under the direction of Justice Tejinder Singh Dhindsa, Judge-cum-Executive Chairman of Punjab and Haryana High Court, Punjab State Legal Services Authority Mohali.

Arun Gupta talked about any kind of complaint including the problems of the Jail.  Jail Superintendent Manjit Singh Tiwana and Additional Superintendent Gurcharan Singh Dhaliwal and other officials were instructed to pay special attention to the health and medical facilities of the prisoners.
