After which she has gone into isolation as per protocol. She urged anyone who came in contact with him to get tested.
Civil surgeon Dr. Raju Dhir said that out of 314 covid reports received in the district today, 37 covid positive cases have been reported. Out of which 24 are from Patiala city, 5 from block Kauli, 3 from Dudhansadha, 2 from Nabha, and 1 case each from Bhadson, Kalomajra, and Harpalpur. have been reported. With this, the total number of covid cases in the district has increased to 63,348. The number of recovered patients from covid is 61384 and active cases are 250. The number of Covid positive deaths is only 1714. Today around 143 samples have been taken for Covid testing, so far 12,69,793 samples have been taken for Covid testing in the district. District Patiala has 63,348 Covid positive, 12,06,405 negative and about 401 are yet to be reported.
During the last 24 hours in Punjab, 2 deaths were due to corona while 467 new cases have been reported due to which the number of active patients has increased to 3121. While the total number of positive patients in the state has increased to 773995, while 750494 patients have recovered and returned home, there have been 20380 deaths due to Corona so far.
