Punjab Government has ordered the transfers and postings of 4 IAS officers with immediate effect.

The postings/transfers of the following officers 

1. Shri Gurkirat Kirpal Singh, IAS(2001) transferred and posted as Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs and in addition Secretary. 
2. Shri Malwinder Singh Jaggi, IAS (2005) transferred and posted as Secretary, Information & Public Relations. Public Works Department (Building and Roads) against a vacant post.
3. Smt. Sonali Giri, IAS (2009) transferred and posted as Director, Information & Public Relations and addition Director, Civil Aviation, and in addition Director, Hospitality in place of Shri Sumeet Jarangal, IAS.
4. Shri Sumeet Jarangal, IAS (2009) transferred and posted as Services are placed at the disposal of the Department of New & Renewable Energy Sources for posting as Chief Executive, Punjab Energy Development Agency in place. of Smt. Sonali Giri, IAS and in addition Special Secretary, Protocol.
