Punjab govt. makes Punjabi eligibility test compulsory for candidates vying for group C and D posts. They have to secure minimum 50% marks in Punjabi eligibility test in addition to recruitment exam for respective post. A decision to this effect has been taken by CM Bhagwant Mann
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਗਰੁੱਪ-ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਡੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਸਾਮੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਟੈਸਟ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਕੀਤਾ
ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਅਸਾਮੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਤ ਭਰਤੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਟੈਸਟ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ 50 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਅੰਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
