Punjab issues order 6th Pay Commission implementation

Punjab Government Thursday issued orders regarding implementation of the 6th Pay Commission.

  1. The Finance Department regarding the subject matter. They have the option to avail themselves of the revised salary from the date of their promotion. Are To avail the benefit of revised salary as per step-1 above from the date of promotion (on opt-in).
  2. After consideration by the government, it has been decided that the officer/employee will get the benefit of at least a 15% increase on the fixed salary (Pay in Pay Band + Grade Pay Basic Pay) on the promotional post (Basic Pay + 113%) (DA + + minimum 15% increase) will be available.
  3. It is also clarified here that the officer/employee receiving the benefit of revised salary from the promotion from 01.01.2016 to the date of promotion and the above 15% increase to be received on promotion till 20.09.2021. No arrears will be found.
  4. Receive fixed revised salary with a 15% increase on promotional posts. The next annual promotion of the performing officer/employee is 12 months from the date of his promotion

Will be provided upon completion of Qualifying Service.
