News Patiala: Patiala police have arrested a fake Regional Transport Authority (RTA). A car, fraudulent amount was recovered from the accused. While their two accomplices are being searched.

According to police, the bus was stopped by some persons on Sirhind Road for checking. On-the-spot investigation revealed that Jatinder alias Raju, a resident of Roorkee Shankar village in Uttar Pradesh and Gurnam Singh, a resident of Ablowal village were conspiring to bribe from the bus owners in the name of fines. He took Rs 55,000 in the name of fine and demanded another Rs 55,000 as bribe. Patiala police has registered a case against the accused at Anaj Mandi police station after conducting an on-the-spot investigation.
