Devoted to Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s arrival at Akoi Sahib from Gurdwara Sahib Molowal, an eleven-day Gurmat ceremony was held at Gurdwara Akoi Sahib by devotees of the area. On this occasion, a huge supernatural Nagar Kirtan was organized by Sangat from different villages under the leadership of Panj Pyara. While this Nagar Kirtan was well received by the congregation, beautiful handkerchiefs were presented to the Guru Granth Sahib and syrups to the five loved ones by the Gurdwara Sahib and the Mohatbars of different villages. During the Nagar Kirtan, Gatke jewels were shown by the school children and Nihang Singhs and the Dhadi Jathas enthralled the congregation by reciting the songs of warriors. During the religious ceremony organized on this occasion, Sant Jagsir Singh Balial Wale and Sant Baljit Singh Fakkar connected the congregation with Naam Bani through Katha Kirtan. He told about the life of Dasmesh father Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s four Sahibzades and mother Gujar Kaur Ji’s life. On this occasion, the organizers also specially honored the Mohatavars and Mahapurushas.
