Ceasefire: Netanyahu gives Mossad director green light to go to Qatar

Jerusalem, January 11

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has approved sending the director of the Mossad intelligence agency to Qatar for ceasefire talks in a sign of progress in talks over the Gaza war. The PMO announced this decision on Saturday. However, it is not clear when David Barnia will travel to Doha, the capital of Qatar. Gaza’s health ministry claimed the other day that more than 46,000 Palestinians have been killed in the war so far. – Ap
