The building of Mehfil Restaurant located in Sector 17 here collapsed today. However, no one was present inside the building at the time of the incident. It may be mentioned that this building is located at a short distance from the Deputy Commission office. According to information, the structure of this building, which is about 50 years old, was already declared unsafe. On the spot, the area was cordoned off by the police and administrative officials have also arrived.
