The Air India Express flight coming from Dubai was grounded at the Karipur airport as a precautionary measure. Airport sources said the plane’s pilot suspected a technical fault in the hydraulic system, after which it was decided to take off the flight as a precautionary measure. He said that flight IX344 landed at half past eight in the morning. An emergency was declared at the airport after the fear expressed by the pilot. There were 182 people on board, including six crew members. -News-Patiala
