The CBI has registered another FIR related to the alleged bribery scam of the Assistant Director of the Enforcement Directorate posted in Shimla. He had escaped during an operation conducted by the agency last week. The official said that the CBI has now registered two FIRs in this regard, one related to an alleged bribe of Rs 85 lakh from the promoters of educational institutes in Himachal Pradesh and the other demanding a bribe of Rs 80 lakh. The complainant promoters, while addressing a press conference in Shimla, alleged that the assistant director used to torture them and demand bribes after calling them to the office. -News-Patiala
