After two days of rain and hail in Punjab, the cold has taken hold in the state. Dense fog this morning affected normal life. Visibility on the roads was limited due to thick fog, due to which the commuters faced great difficulty in driving. According to the information received from the Meteorological Department, the fury of fog has been high in Amritsar, Ludhiana, Jalandhar and other areas. According to information received from meteorologists, Gurdaspur city in Punjab is the coldest today, where the minimum temperature was recorded at 4.5 degrees Celsius. Meteorologists have predicted dense fog on December 30 as well when the cold wave moves.
The fury of fog continued continuously in Punjab since early today. Not only this, most of the cities of Punjab did not even see the sun today and it was cloudy all day. Due to the lack of sunlight, people were also shivering. Due to increasing cold, the work of the daily wage workers who earn and eat daily has also been affected.
According to the information received from the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature today is 11 degrees Celsius in Chandigarh, 9.3 in Amritsar, 7.6 in Ludhiana, 10.5 in Patiala, 7.4 in Bathinda, 7 in Faridkot, 8.1 in Barnala, 10.8 in Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, Fazilka. 6.3, Moga 8.6, Rupnagar 10.8 degree Celsius have done Meteorologists have predicted dense fog on December 30 during the cold wave.
