Farmer Protest: Today, two ministers on behalf of the Punjab government are reaching the Dhaka Gujran border to meet the farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who is on a fast to death at the Gujran border for the past 30 days. Both Cabinet Ministers Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal and Taranjit Singh Saund reached Circuit House at Patiala here earlier today where they held a meeting with some Patiala officials.
After this, they left for Dubai Gujran border at around 4 pm. It is to be mentioned that earlier Special DGP Arpat Shukla along with some other police officers had also reached the Dubai border.
Mr. Shukla first held a meeting with some farmer leaders there. It is understood that during this meeting, only after the consent of the farmers’ leaders, the police has given permission for both the ministers to reach there.
