Punjab Police has arrested four associates of Canadian-based terrorist Arsh Dalla and a foreign handler and recovered three pistols along with 16 cartridges from their possession.

DGP Gaurav Yadav said that the arrested persons have been identified as Gagandeep Singh and Navjot Singh alias Nishu (both residents of Amloh (Fatehgarh Sahib) and currently living in a rented house in Kharar), Lakhwinder Singh resident of Bhadson (Patiala) and Vipanpreet Singh. Born as a resident of Faridkot. The accused have confessed to firing on the instructions of their foreign handler Daljit Singh alias Ninda with the intention of extorting money from the shop owner at a car accessories showroom located in Phase 11 of Mohali on the intervening night of December 1 and 2. . Ninda is a history sheeter who fled to America on a fake passport. Yadav said the module linked to Dalla was planning to carry out more crimes in Punjab on his behest. -News-Patiala
