CTET Admit Card 2026 News: Candidates’ wait for Central Board of Secondary Education’s Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026 Admit Card is about to end. The board is expected to release the admit card today, February 5, 2026 on the official website, ctet.nic.in. This year, a record-breaking number of over 25 lakh candidates have applied, which has led CBSE to decide to make significant changes to the exam schedule and hold it over two days – February 7 and 8, 2026.
The CTET exam will be held in 140 cities across the country. To download CTET 2026 admit card details like your application number and date of birth will be required. After the recent judgment of the Supreme Court, CTET has been made mandatory for in-service teachers as well. This year’s examination has become important for teachers’ careers and promotions. Considering the huge number of candidates, CBSE has decided to conduct the CTET exam in two days. Originally this exam was to be held only on February 8, but now this exam will be held on February 7 (Saturday) and February 8 (Sunday). The examination will be held in two shifts:
Shift 1: 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM…
Shift 2: 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM…
How to Download CTET Admit Card?
You can download CTET 2026 Hall Ticket by following the steps below:
- To download CTET admit card, visit the official website, ctet.nic.in.
- Click on the ‘Download Admit Card for CTET February 2026’ link on the homepage.
- Enter your application number and date of birth.
- Enter Security Pin (Captcha) and submit.
- CTET Admit Card will appear on the screen. Download it and take a printout.
Candidates are advised to reach the examination center at least 90 minutes before. The examination start times (9:30 am and 2:30 pm) will be closed. No candidate will be admitted after this time. Be sure to carry a clear photocopy of your admit card and a valid photo ID (such as Aadhaar card, voter ID card, or driving license).
