December School Holidays : The last month of 2025 is about to begin. As the calendar turns once again, children are eager to see the list of holidays. December 2025 will be a month full of holidays. Everyone eagerly waits for December. In the north Indian states where there is severe cold, schools close in December. Some schools even offer Christmas break before winter break.
There were fewer holidays in November. Due to pollution, schools in Delhi and many surrounding districts shifted classes up to class V to hybrid mode. Many schools were not even given holidays due to exams, so everyone was eagerly waiting for the beginning of December. Apart from the nine fixed holidays and Saturdays and Sundays in December, the holiday calendar will be different for each school. - 25 December – Christmas (public holiday)
- 26 December – Boxing Day (Mizoram, Telangana)
- December 27 – Guru Gobind Singh Prakash Purab (Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh).
Winter Vacation 2025: Waiting for winter vacation
The people of Delhi are currently waiting for severe cold. Meanwhile, winter has set in in several states of North India, including Madhya Pradesh. School timings have been changed due to weather.
