Opportunities for 10th pass in Govt of India company, 14 years old can also apply


BDL Apprentice Vacancy: Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has released a notification for the recruitment of Trade Apprentices for its Kanchanbagh Unit in Hyderabad. There are total 156 seats, and this opportunity is open only to those candidates who have passed 10th standard and also completed ITI in the same trade. This is a government apprenticeship where you will get a good stipend and one year of real work experience.

How many seats in which trade?

This time, the highest number of vacancies are for fitters, of which there are 70. Electronics mechanics 30, turners and engineers 15-15, electricians 10, and diesel mechanics and R&A mechanics 5-5, welder 4 posts and machinist-grinder only 2 posts. The total number of positions is 156, meaning there are significant opportunities in each trade.

What qualifications are required?

First you must pass 10th or SSC from a recognized board. Next, you must complete ITI in the trade you are applying for. While applying, you need to submit your 10th mark sheet, ITI. Have to upload mark sheet and if you are taking reservation then caste certificate also has to be uploaded.

What is the age limit?

You must be between 14 to 30 years of age as on December 8, 2025. This is the limit for general category people. OBC people will get 3 years relaxation i.e. up to 33 years and SC-ST people will get 5 years relaxation i.e. upto 35 years can also apply. Your age will be calculated based on the date of birth mentioned in your 10th certificate.

When and how to apply?

Online applications started from 24th November, 2025 and last date is 8th December, 2025. First, visit apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and register yourself, then fill the BDL form. After online submission, you have to print the form and send it along with all required documents to BDL office in Kanchanbagh, Hyderabad by speed post or registered post by 12th December, 2025. If the hard copy is not received, your application will be rejected.

How will the selection be?

Hence no written test is required. A separate merit list will be prepared for each trade. This list is based on 10th class marks and ITI. Marks will be prepared with equal importance. The better your score, the higher your name will be. After getting the merit, you have to pass a medical test. Apprenticeship will start only after that.

How much stipend will get during training?

The training will last for one full year and will be conducted as per Central Apprenticeship Council rules. The monthly stipend is quite generous at the rate set by the government. Also you will get a chance to work in a real working environment.

If you are 10th + ITI have passed and fall within the age limit, then visit apprenticeshipindia.gov.in, register and fill the form. Submit online by December 8 and post hard copy by December 12. There are 156 seats in total, but thousands of applications will come.
