J-K: Security forces carry out inspections in key areas The Amarnath Yard is about to start on July 3, for the security forces to ensure the security of devotees, has been posted to the majority for the major sectors. Security officials reviewed the arrangements in Anantnag, Benhan, Ramban and other major areas before the outset of the Amarnath.
It may be recalled that the Amarnath journey will start from the balletal and asphalm paths.
Earlier, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah talked about the necessary arrangements for the devotees of Amarnath Young.
He said that the Deputy Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha held two meetings before the pilgrimage. The first meeting was made to political parties and representatives of the second civil society, which was asked to ensure proper facilities for passengers.
He said that July 2 would leave Jammu on July 2 for this trip. Earlier, a large number of pilgrims for this trip moved to special centers. People have been being encouraged to journey to the Amarnath Yard, officials said.
