These three phones were closed
After the launch of affordable iPhone iPhone 16E, Apple has turned off three iPhone models. This list includes iPhone SE, iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. In this way the iPhone 16E has become the cheapest and latest model of the company.
No product comes in red color
In 2006, Apple partnered with RED. Under this, money was raised for The Global Fund, running a campaign against diseases like TB and malaria in Africa. Under this partnership, Apple used to present some of its products in red color. Now after the closure of three iPhone models, the company has no product in red color. The new iPhone has also been launched only in black and white color.
64GB storage is not available in new iPhone
The 64GB variant has not been launched in the iPhone 16E. This means that now all the company’s iPhones start with at least 128GB storage options. It also affects the price and customers will have to pay more money.
Apple does not have any small size iPhone
After the closure of the iPhone SE, now Apple does not have any iPhone available with small screen. Now the company has 6.1 inches of display of the smallest screen iPhone, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max has a 6.9 -inch display.
Lightning port also missing
All the new iPhones of Apple now come with the USB-C port. Lightning port was available in iPhone SE 3, which is now closed. In many parts of the world including Europe, USB-C port is now being made mandatory with new devices. It has also affected Apple and has replaced Lightning Port from USB-C port.
Home button also said goodbye
Apple has also said goodbye to the home button with the launch of iPhone 16E. This means that no new iPhone with Apple Home button will now sell. This is going to happen for the first time after the launch of the first iPhone. In this way, after 18 years, the feature with touch ID from the iPhone has been closed.
