This government bank has opened the recruitment of 750 LBO, November 23 is the last date to apply

If you are dreaming of a job in the banking sector, Punjab National Bank (PNB) has a golden opportunity for you. Bank has announced recruitment for 750 Local Bank Officer (LBO) posts. The application process for these posts started on November 3, 2025, and will continue till November 23, 2025. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website of PNB.

To apply for these posts, candidates must possess a graduation degree from a recognized university. They should also have basic banking knowledge and knowledge of local language. Regarding the age limit, minimum age to apply should be 20 years and maximum age should be 30 years. However, age relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates. SC/ST candidates will get relaxation of five years, OBC candidates three years and disabled candidates ten years.

How much salary will you get?
Selected candidates will get monthly salary ranging from ₹48,480 to ₹85,920. Apart from this, allowances and other benefits will be provided as per Bank norms.

This will be the selection process
The selection process will be conducted in three stages: an online written test, a screening test, a local language test, and an interview. In the written test, candidates will be asked 150 questions on topics like Reasoning, Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis, English and General Awareness, carrying a total of 150 marks. There will be one-fourth negative marking for each wrong answer. General and EWS category candidates should score at least 40 percent marks in the exam, while SC/ST/OBC category candidates should score 35 percent marks. Candidates who qualify the written test will be called for screening test and interview. The final selection will be based on their performance in all stages.

How much should be the application fee?
Regarding the application fee, the application fee for General, EWS and OBC category candidates is fixed at ₹1,180. For SC/ST and differently abled (PWD) candidates, the fee is ₹59 only. Payment can be made online.
