Women Sarpanch Gurjit Kaur represents District Bathinda in National Conference

The first woman Sarpanch Gurjit Kaur of village Pragya Sarma Sarja Gurjit Kaur enlisted in the International Women’s Conference held in Delhi. The science Bhavan was held by the Conference Union government in Delhi, which participated in Delhi.

Gurjit Kaur, also a dedication of the urban himself of Bathinda, had a chance to attend this important conference from the 23 women sarpanches of Punjab. During the function, women sarpanches discussed rural development, women’s participation, and villages, etc.

Central Panchayat Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh Rajiv Ranjan Singh and Panchayat Minister of Minister Sarpankeel was also honored by the Panchayat Minister of Sarphans. On the occasion Gurjit Kaur said that it was a matter of pride for him and the village of Mahima Surgeites. He said he would make better efforts to the development of his village and to increase women’s participation.
