Allahabad HC quashes PIL seeking CBI probe into alleged irregularities during Maha Kumbh: The Allahabad High Court has dismissed the public intelligence petition as recently demanded the CBI investigation of alleged irregularities. Chief Justice Arun Bhansali and Justice Shuties Shailendra dismissed the petition filed by Kesar Singh and two others, it seems unknown when the event has already been over. The petitioner alleged that the administration failed to fulfill his duty during the Great and the pilgrims found poor quality water.
