The state government has given the best school award for the old school award for the year 2024-25 from the Jalandhar district. Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains have presented a cash prize of Rs.5 lakh in Municipal Bhavan Chandigarh.
School in-charge Shivali thanked the Punjab government, Education Minister Harjat Singh Bains, Education Secretary Anindita Mitra, Deepi Paramjit Singh and District Education Officer Gurinderjit Kaur. Master Baljit Singh thanked the village Panchayat and NRIs with which the village has increased by the support of the village. On the occasion, Harinder Kaur, Gita Rani, Purana Parvarna, Varinder Singh Grover, Lena, Manjit Kaur and Sukhwinder Kaur were also present.
