A girl filed a complaint with the police in district Pathankot that an unknown person is defaming her in the society by sending wrong messages through her fake Instagram ID. The application was investigated by the Pathankot Cyber Crime Police Station, a case was registered against Gurpreet Singh, a resident of Nowshera Nalbanda, after getting information about the fake Instagram ID. He was arrested and the mobile phone used by him was recovered. District Police Chief Daljinder Singh Dhillon warned that those who do wrong by creating fake IDs on social media will not be spared.
