Former Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Punjab state president Jasvir Singh Garhi has joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on New Year’s Day on Wednesday. He was included in ‘AAP’ by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
Along with this, the party high command appointed former Rajya Sabha member and former MLA Avtar Singh Karimpuri as the new state president in place of Garhi. Karimpuri has been the president of BSP Punjab for many years before.
Now Jasveer Singh Garhi has taken the lead of Aam Aadmi Party. Earlier in the morning, he indicated that he would choose a new path by uploading a very emotional live video on Facebook under the title ‘Happy New Year, we will walk on a new path.
In this video, he has made various accusations against the senior leadership of the party, including the current BSP Punjab president.
He also held the party leadership responsible for the decisions of the old workers and leaders of the party who had left the party in the past and accused the BSP leadership of ‘political murder’ of his and other leaders.
