Donald Trump warns ‘BRICS’ countries again

President Donald Trump has again warned the ten-nation group ‘BRICS’, which includes India, that he will impose 100 percent tax on these countries if they make any move to replace the US dollar. Trump, who was sworn in as the 47th president of the United States on Monday, said, “If the BRICS countries want to do it, that’s fine, but we will impose at least a 100 percent tax on their trade with the United States.” BRICS is an intergovernmental organization with the participation of ten countries – Russia, India, China, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Iran and the United Arab Emirates.
