The Kasauli police have registered a case against Haryana BJP president Mahonlal Barauli and singer Rocky Mittal alias Jai Bhagwan on charges of gang rape and threats. This action has been taken on the basis of the complaint made by the woman on December 13. Haryana BJP president Mohanlal Barauli denied the allegations and said that this case is a ploy to damage his reputation and political career.
According to the FIR, the case dates back to July 3, 2023, when the victim came to Himachal Pradesh with her friends Poonam and Amit. He had left the hotel room in Kasauli around 5 pm on July 3, 2023. Meanwhile, while walking around, he met two persons staying in the same hotel. One of them identified himself as political leader Mohanlal Barauli while the other identified himself as singer Rocky Mittal.
Both of them asked the two women to go to the rooms and talk. After entering the room, Rocky offered the victim to act in his song and Barauli offered her a government job. Later both of them started to molest them. When the victim protested, they threatened Poonam and asked her to stay aside. The victim alleged that both of them raped her and also made a video of it. Meanwhile, he was also threatened with death. Solan SP Gaurav Singh said that the matter is being investigated.
