A person has been arrested here on the charge of misleading the police by fabricating a story of robbery. The accused has been identified as Parminder Singh, a resident of Solewal village. The police have arrested the accused. According to the information received, the accused had complained to the police that someone threatened him with a pistol and snatched cash of 1 lakh 20 thousand rupees from him. DSP Karan Singh Sandhu said that this complaint was given on January 13 on helpline 112. He had said that he works in a bread company and had come to Kharar Mohali for supplies. Two motorcyclists snatched the supply payment of Rs. 1 lakh and 20 thousand from him at the airport road with a pistol and took away his gold earrings and also took away his mobile phone and vehicle key. On this, the police registered a case in Balongi police station and started investigation. In the investigation, it was revealed that he had given false information to the police due to some temptation. Now the police has registered a new case against him and arrested him.
