Abbotsford: (Hon) Poet Mehma Singh Toor’s book ‘Udasi Jagdi Hai’ and Hari Singh Tatla’s book ‘Tu Te Picasso’ were released in a literary event organized by Punjabi Sahitya Sabha Prabli Abbotsford here at Heritage Gursikh Gurdwara South Fraser Way Abbotsford.
About the released books poet Davinder Singh Poonia and Dr. Gurvinder Singh shared his views and talked about the place of these books in the world of literature. He said that the books of both authors can be said to be excellent in terms of subject and art. Surjit Singh Sahota, Principal Surinderpal Kaur Brar, Harkirat Kaur Chahal, Satwant Kaur Pandher, Jagjit Singh Sandhu, Kuldeep Singh Sekhon, Gurdev Singh Buttar, Sukhi Rode and Mahi Sahib also expressed their views about these books. The authors of these books, Hari Singh Tatla and Mehma Singh Toor, gave detailed information to the audience regarding their poems and also shared some of their works.
Songwriter Gurpreet Singh Chahal conducted the event well. Raj Singh Bhandal of Vanjara Nomad Collections, associate in the event, congratulated the writers. Gurmukh Singh, Gurwinder Singh Sandhu, Malkit Singh Meilu etc. were present in the event.
