Patiala News, 4 February 2022:
A case of beating another gangster by four gangsters has come to light in the often controversial Central Jail Bathinda. Police have registered a case against four gangsters in this regard.
Sarup Chand, Assistant Superintendent, Central Jail, Bathinda informed the police. The complaint states that gangster prisoner Gaurav Sharma son of Jagmohan Sharma, gangster Sagar son of Lalchand, Rajinder Singh son of Manjit Singh, and gangster Palwinder Singh son of Resham Singh have beaten gangster Kripal Singh son of Gurbachan Singh lodged in Central Jail. Kent Police have registered a case against four persons under Section 52 of the Jail Act. The matter is being investigated by Assistant Police Officer Baljit Singh. Awaiting further details.
