Malerkotla January 18: 2022
District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Madhavi Kataria has issued orders to ban any kind of drone flying in Malerkotla district till January 27, 2022. The orders state that the ban was imposed in view of Republic Day on January 26, 2022.
District Magistrate Mrs. Madhavi Kataria, exercising her powers under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, allowed flying of any type of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) or drone, remotely piloted aircraft, hot air balloon in Malerkotla district. There is a complete ban on flying. Any violation of these guidelines will be punishable under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
