The Punjab Police has launched an innovative drive to hand over the case property to the public, Patiala Police is the first to participate in this drive where district Police, Patiala has handed over goods worth Rs. 32.4 crores to the public under the direction of S. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Deputy Chief Minister Punjab and DGP Punjab S. Iqbal Preet Singh Sahota IPS. This function was held at Police Lines, Patiala where S. Mukhwinder Singh Chhina IPS, IGP Patiala Range Patiala, S. Harcharan Singh Bhullar IPS, SSP Patiala were also present.

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਕੇਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਪੁਰਦ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਨਵੇਕਲੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਬ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸ. ਸੁਖਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰੰਧਾਵਾ, ਉਪ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਡੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸ. ਇਕਬਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਹੋਤਾ ਆਈ.ਪੀ.ਐਸ. ਦੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ-ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਤਹਿਤ ਜਨਤਾ ਨੂੰ 32.4 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਕੇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਪਰਟੀ ਸਪੁਰਦ ਕੀਤੀ, ਇਹ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਲਾਈਨ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ: ਮੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਛੀਨਾ ਆਈ.ਪੀ.ਐਸ, ਆਈ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ. ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਰੇਂਜ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ, ਸ: ਹਰਚਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੁੱਲਰ ਆਈ.ਪੀ.ਐਸ., ਐਸ.ਐਸ.ਪੀ. ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
