A player who hit two consecutive sixes fell to the ground as soon as he picked up his bat to hit the third six and never got up again.
In fact, a 34-year-old youth from Navi Mumbai in Maharashtra died of a heart attack while playing cricket. The name of the deceased youth is Zubin Rajendra Damji. Zubin, a resident of Vashi’s Sector 9, had gone to the Don Bosco School ground in Matunga to play cricket with his village friends.
The accident happened while batting
According to the information received, the cricket match started at 12 noon. Zubin hit two consecutive sixes while batting. While hitting the third six, he suffered a heart attack and collapsed on the field. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital but doctors declared Zubin brought dead. Zubin is survived by his wife, one-year-old son and mother.
Died while playing cricket in Jalna
Let me tell you that 6 days ago a similar accident also happened in Jalna. A player died of cardiac arrest during a match at the Fraser Boys Ground in Jalna city. A player named Vijay Patel came to bat and suddenly felt ill and sat down on the field. Fellow players rushed him to the doctor but Vijay was declared brought dead. The entire incident was caught on video camera.
