The representatives of the political parties should sensitize the 18 to 19-year-old youth in the district more and more to cast their votes so that the youth can contribute to nation building by using their constitutional right in a proper manner. This was expressed by the District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Dr. Sona Thind presided over the meeting held with the representatives of political parties regarding the final publications of voter lists at the District Administrative Complex. They also handed over CDs and copies of the final publication of photo voter lists to the representatives of the political parties. He told the representatives of the political parties that the draft voter list has been released on which claims and objections can be submitted till January 24, which will be decided by February 6 and the final publication of the voter list will be made on February 25. . Navdeep Singh Navi of AAP, Harish Agarwal of BJP, Harwinder Singh Babbal of Shiromani Akali Dal, Mohan Singh Bhattamajra of BSP and Tehsildar Nirmala Rani were present on this occasion.
