A religious function was organized by the Joint Action Committee at the Punjab Civil Secretariat with the support of all employee organizations in celebration of the new year and the birth anniversary of Dasam Patshah Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. In the event, Sri Sukhmani Sahib Paath was recited and Bhai Lakhwinder Singh Chandigarh enthralled the congregation with kirtan. KAP Sinha, IAS Chief Secretary Punjab, Anurag Verma IAS Additional Chief Secretary Revenue Department, Gurpreet Kaur Sapra IAS Secretary General Administration Department, Baldeep Kaur IAS and Tejdeep Singh Saini PCS Joint Secretary, General Administration Department and many others were present at the event. Officers and employees were present. Chief Secretary KAP Sinha congratulated and said, “I am lucky to have the throne of the Sikh Panth in Patna Sahib and my Karma Bhoomi in Punjab three thrones of the Sikh Panth are adorned.” Personal Staff and Sahitya Sabha President Malkit Singh Aujla recited the context of the battle of Chamkaur to the congregation in the form of a poem dedicated to Dasam Patshah. Under Secretary Home Department Paramdeep Singh Bhabat and Joint Action Committee President Sukhchain Singh Khaira also expressed views. On this occasion Manjit Randhawa, Kulwant Singh, Sushil Kumar Fauzi, Alka Chopra, Jasbir Kaur, Sudesh Kumari, Davinder Jugni, Bhupinder Jhaj, Sahil Sharma, Inderpreet Bhangu, Sahil Sharma, Mithun Chawla, Jaspreet Randhawa, Balraj Singh Daun, Bajrang Yadav etc. and employees were present.
