New Delhi: LG orders investigation into Mahila Samman Yojana

The Mahila Samman Yojana controversy in Delhi is not stopping. Lt. Governor VK Saxena has ordered an inquiry into Mahila Samman Yojana. In this regard, instructions have been given to the Chief Secretary of Delhi that action should be taken as per the law. Earlier, the Department of Women and Child Development and the Health Department of the Delhi government had asked people to stay away from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government’s Sanjeevani and Mukhmantri Mahila Samman schemes for women and senior citizens.

The Department of Women and Child Development had issued an advertisement saying that there is no such scheme and people are being misled by registration. Along with this, people have been urged to refrain from sharing their information. On this order of LG, AAP gave its reaction and said that this order did not come from LG’s office but from Amit Shah’s office. BJP does not respect women. BJP has accepted its defeat in Delhi elections. Mahila Samman Yojana is getting full support of women in Delhi. So far more than 22 lakh women have registered.

It may be mentioned that the Delhi Cabinet had approved the payment of Rs 1000 under Mahila Samman Yojana, while Chief Minister Atishi had said that this amount would be increased to Rs 2100 after winning the elections. After winning the elections, Aam Aadmi Party has announced to start Sanjeevani scheme for senior citizens. After this, the women and child development ministry of the Delhi government had described these schemes as fake.

BJP is not digesting the rise of ‘AAP’: Kejriwal

Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has ordered an inquiry into the Mahila Samman Yojana of the Atishi government. The Aam Aadmi Party has targeted the BJP over this. ‘AAP’ said that the order of inquiry has not come from LG’s office but from Amit Shah’s office. AAP convener and former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said in a press conference that BJP wants to stop Mahila Samman Yojana in Delhi. He said that BJP does not respect women. He said that BJP has accepted defeat in Delhi elections.

Kejriwal said that women and senior citizens are happy with our schemes, people are registering in large numbers. They tried to block our camps. They tried to stop the camp by sending the police. Today he has ordered a fake investigation. They don’t want women to benefit.

Kejriwal said that BJP is not coming to give anything to AAP. The masses are coming to take whatever they are getting. They will stop all facilities for the people of Delhi. Kejriwal said, “If you vote for him, you will not let the people get anything.” We will continue to implement the Rs 2100 scheme. Let’s see how the BJP stops it? I appeal to all the people of Delhi to come together. If they send us to jail, we will go to jail 10 times.”

Kejriwal said that BJP has told today that even if it wins by mistake, it will not allow ‘Mahila Samman Yojana’ and ‘Sanjeevani Yojana’ to be implemented.
