Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh passed away


New Delhi, December 26

Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh passed away at the age of 92 at the AIIMS Hospital here today. After his health deteriorated, he was admitted to the ICU of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in the national capital this evening.

Dr. Manmohan Singh was the Prime Minister of the country twice. Before that he was also the finance minister of the country. Economist-turned-politician Dr. Manmohan Singh also served as the Governor of the Reserve Bank of India. – Reuters
